Regulatory Signs

Regulatory signs are used to inform motorists prohibited actions, such as illegal turns, speed limits, and truck information.  Except for the Suggested Speed sign, all regulatory signs are black, and red text on a white circle.  Supplement plaques may be used in conjunction with regulatory signs.  Regulatory signs are grouped into five categories.  To go to a category click one of the following links.

This sign indicates the legal minimum speed.  Underlining distinguishes it from a maximum. None

This sign indicates the legal maximum speed in normal conditions. None
Suggested
Speed
This sign suggests a good speed at which to travel the road.  These signs are frequently posted below curve, cautionary, signs. None
Max Speed
Poor Conditions
This sign indicates the legal maximum speed in poor conditions, such as rain, fog or wet roads. None
Multiple

This sign combines normal max and poor condition max on one signs. None
End Limits This sign marks the end of all speed limits.  General superway rules apply. None
